CD Cover

When making the CD cover I tried to keep it similar to the original CD cover to make it more recognisable, so that you can tell that it is Adele's album. I did this by using the same font and colour scheme.

This is the front cover of the CD. I used an image that I took when filming the video and used this as the image for the front cover because I think that this captures her emotions towards the song that she is singing to make the audience connect with her and the song more. I used the same font that is used on Adele's actual album, Century Gothic, and used the same shade of green so that it matches with Adele's album more, making it more recognisable for the public.

This is the cover for the disc of the album. I used an image that was taken whilst I was filming the video and placed the name of the album '21' on top of this image. The reason why I did this was to make it relate directly to the video that I created, in order to show continuity in my work.

This is the inside cover of the CD which show part of the video that we filmed that includes a fade between two different scenes. I decided to use this image because it shows the artist of the CD and the main location in which I filmed in to relate it directly to my video. I have also done this because it shows the changes in location, like what I have filmed in my video, because it begins with Adele, then fades between Adele and the location and then ends with just the location. The bar in the centre shows were the inside cover would fold if this was placed on an actual CD.

This is the back cover of my CD which lists all of the songs that are on Adele's album 21. I have used exactly the same font, Century Gothic, as what is used on the actual album to relate it more to Adele's CD, as the whole project was to re-make part of a music video so I wanted to try and re-make parts of the CD to such as the font type and colours. I used this image of the location at the end of my video to show the different parts of my video through the cover of the CD. I included necessary details at the bottom, such as copyright details and a barcode, which are featured on every CD to create verisimilitude. The two bars which are on the sides of the back page show the strips of details which would be folded up this was placed on an actual CD.
